Final WCTE 2004/2005 standings

The 2004/2005 WCTE qualification season is over with the Grand Slam in Winnipeg. The two leader of the money list qualified for the European spots at the 2005 PharmAssist Players Championship in St. John.

Results from Overseas

Team Entra from Norway (Pal Trulsen) made it into the quarter final at the Canadian Open and gets CAD 7’000.-. With this money they finished on second place in 04/05 WCT-E ranking.

Ramada Jarvis Masters 2005, 07/09 January 2005

Randy Ferby is the 2005 Perthmasters Champion. His Team from Edmonton with Fourth David Nedohin, Scott Pfeiffer and Marcel Rocque defeated Peter de Boer from Scotland 7:4 in the final.

Casino Luzern Trophy 2004, 18/20 November 2004

Team Scotland with Tom Brewster as Skip repeats their success at the Casino Luzern Trophy of last year. They win the tournament by defeating Langenthal Appatrade (Stefan Heilmann) 7:1 in the final.

Swedish Cup 2004, 12/14 November 2004

World Champion Peja Lindholm from Östersund won the Swedishcup with a 4:2 victory over last year winner Sundbybergs CK (Dryburgh). Team St. Galler Bär (Stöckli) took the lead of the wct-e moneylist.

Team Brewster of Scotland, Last Year WCT-E Champions, made it into the Quarterfinals at the BDO Curling Classic in Hamilton ON, the first Bonspiel of the Pharm Assist Grand Slam an got therefore 6000 CAD.

Bundtrophy 2004, 15/17 October 2004

Adelboden, Switzerland’s Bjorn Zryd defeated Scotland’s David Murdoch 6-4 to win the 2004 Bund Trophy in Bern. Team Zryd, including Bjorn at skip, Simon Danzer at third, second Hansruedi Niederhauser and lead Martin Stucki defeated top Euro teams Andreas Schwaller and Pal Trulsen en route to the Championship title, posting an impressive 8-1 record throughout the event.

SWISS Cup 2004, 8/10 October 2004

Andreas Schwaller defeated Peja Lindholm 5-3 to win the Swiss Cup in Arlesheim, Switzerland. Team Schwaller, with skip Andi Schwaller, third Markus Eggler, second Marco Ramstein and lead Roland Moser take 12’000 (CHF) for the win.

OSLO Cup 2004, 23/26 September 2004

Team Entra from Norway with Pal Trulsen won the first competition of the WCT-E 2004/2005 at the Oslo Cup in Norway.
Team Trulsen earned $10’088 (CDN) for the win by defating St. Galler Bär (Stöckli) in the Final.

The most important change is, that every Team, participating in a WCT-E Tournament is registered automatically as WCT-E Member.
